W213 E Class problems
The suspension with those tyres seem to run out of travel very quickly - surfaces I can blitz in my wife's little GTi cause the Merc to bang and crash over them - would have thought the roles would be reversed.
Really unnerving sensation on a straight road, horrible on bends. Dealer checked it out and said it's normal. The baseline for their normal falls somewhat south of mine!
Does anyone know where I can change the date on Command as I've been looking everywhere.
Thank you !
But I read and as you can see, there changes only the time, not the date (there is no option to adjust the date).
I was now at the dealer and it seems that the GPS antenna is faulty, which also affects the date. It will change this gps antenna. Respect !
I’m interested to know more about issue number 2. In my case, it’s a terrible sound inside the car when I’m driving. And when the car was in for the regular service, I asked them to investigate why. And they told me that the tires was rugged on the inside (is that the correct expression in English?).
So, my question is: did they pay you for new tires? In my case, they just told me to use the tires for now and buy new ones later and also adjust the settings for the front at the same time... But this seems to be a known problem with the car, and why should I pay for that.

I’m experiencing all of the above issues with my S213 (built in November 2016).

but the noise iside might be something different, which brand of tires do you have? i have the goodyear eagles on it
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
1 Brake judder, all Discs and pads replaced
2 tremble in steering wheel; all tires replaced with new ones, there was a height difference
in them
3 Rattle from dashboard; was a hose rattling against some metal way down in the dash,
they had to remove half the interior
4 door panel squeaking, replaced door panel
5 door pin stuck, replaced door pin mechanism
6 Slow command, command wiped and reinstalled
every now and then my ipod disconnects in the middle of a song, dealer is looking into that now.
besides that, it is an awesome car :-)

Didn’t you get any sound from your wheels? I get a really annoying sound from them when I’m driving.
So I am now 10k miles and 10 months into my 2017 plate E350E Mercedes. I should point out that the decision to lease a E350E was based on the company car tax robbery here in the UK, currently any hybrid car is an attractive option re the amount of car tax you have to pay
In summary if I could give this car back tomorrow I would, should have stuck to a BMW and paid the tax. Had 5 BMW's so fancied something different and a cheaper tax bill, but regret the decision now.
Mine is a AMG Line in black
Exterior aesthetics of the car are ok, AMG Line. Expensive taxi look.
Interior is impressive but over complicated, you can access or change most options/settings three different ways. I wanted the dual display screen but MB had them on back order so I could not wait 4 months longer, MB were useless at order stage.
Seats are ok as long as someone does not change settings (no memory function on mine)
Driving experience is the disappointing thing, its quite frankly just boring, BMW is much more dynamic even when the MB is in Sports mode.
Battery is fairly pointless and just adds weight to the car, fully charged battery if you can be bothered will return you no more than 15 miles. Car does its own thing and constantly goes in and out of battery mode so the battery is soon back to zero %
Boot space is ok but not very practical its to shallow in my opinion, rear seats do not fold, well mine dont.
The vehicle brakes have a mind of their own, and behave completely differently depending on what driving mode you select. How I have not bumped someone is a small miracle. You can stop the car with say the brakes will be half way down and then if you push harder the brake peddle hits the floor. I had this checked out by MB shortly after I got the car as I felt it was not safe but apparently they are.
Basically forget the battery and you have a uninspiring 2.0L petrol engine that in my opinion is underpowered given the car weight. Also this engine just never seems to change up gear automatically when you think it should, the revs almost scream help so you end up using the steering wheel paddles all the time.
Do not believe the MB statement on this cars mpg, god knows how they come to that conclusion
MB Command crashes randomly but is impressive when working, I use Google maps via the Apple Play which is better than the on board sat nav for sure.
In summary, looks ok, driving experience is accomplished but not much fun, would I recommend one definitely not and mine will be going back to MB before the lease ends
I can appreciate and respect some people will have a different view but this MB falls way short of any BMW I have driven, shame BMW didn't adopt the MB cockpit, best of both worlds

- warped rotors (problem comes and goes, don't know why. discs were changed 2 times already)
- park radar not accurate at all. sometimes won't beep when the visual aide is already in red. also beeping is not loud enough.
- usb stick keeps crashing. have to chose another audio source and then come back to the usb to restart (or restart command)
- internet radio sometimes stops working (crashes?) need to restart command
- (map updates take for ever. right now am updating ONLY france and it's been going for over 2 weeks (say 30hrs) it's at 70% now...
- when it's hot and I close the roof, it goes into the tilted position. only way to close is to lower it back in several goes (ie not let it close automatically in 1 go)
this is my 4th Mercedes since 2009 and had this problem with every one!
- command is slow as sh*t
- right front & rear left speakers vibrate within the door, especially when making calls (it makes a sound like the speaker itself is blown)
- GPS is far from perfect (any portable tomtom blows it away) : just 2 examples: impossible to accurately & easily see where traffic jams are (it only shows on the map, not in a list that u can call up)
on map it shows gasstation prices, but you can not choose a gasstation on price from the list as it doesn't show the prices here.
- last, but not least the Mercedes me website and app. it's mostly hit & miss. send an address to your car.. it doesn't show up. car is shown as unlocked when it's locked.
windows shown open, when closed.
all problems that should not occur with a 65k euro car IMO

hard reboot of command does not work
any tips?
EDIT; well the update finally failed / was cancelled, which enabled me to switch to update via memory card...

right, not sure what the issues is - like did they try to make the car sportier? I just dont get it,... I dont think any Benz should be designed this way, nor any other much cheaper cars feel like this at those speeds...
Have you ever tried to fix the issue somehow? i.e dealership visit etc
Make/Model: Mercedes Benz/E200d (W213)
Manufacture/Registration (Year): 2016/2017
Mileage: 25,600 KM
Remark: Car is relatively new, just had its 1st birthday last week.
Background: Check Engine Light (CEL) appeared during driving. Check onboard system message: NIL. Check other readings, and found that under AdBlue, the dashboard showed "Cannot measure fluid level.
Action:
Day 1. Sent the car to workshop. The workshop technician said that there was no system message. They reset the CEL, and happily sent me off. Note: There was about 3/4 of AdBlue in tank.
Day 2. Upon driving home on day 1, the CEL appeared again. Went to fill the AdBlue tank full. Day 2, sent the car to workshop. The workshop technician said again that there was no system message. But he noticed that the sensor circuit was dirty. So they cleaned it and reset the CEL. Again, they sent me off.
Day 3. Upon driving for less than 1 hour, the CEL persistently showed up.
Seeking for Assistance: Any chance if anyone could have a similar problem resolved? Anyone know the root cause of the issue?
