You can thank VW and their cheating BS for this. ALL carmakers are being looked at from top to bottom and from side to side now, doesn't matter what it is or what type of engine now. It's likely to continue for the next few years. Especially with German cars.

Dealer texted that all e43s were cleared today. They are waiting to see what truck my car gets assigned to and will then have an ETA as to when I can pick it up - likely next week I'll have it.
I believe my guy as he seems honest. He also was getting information about my trade in and finalizing the numbers for the deal today. I'll let you know when my car is assigned to a truck and the ETA when I know it.

Checked with dealer. Confirmed the E43 is not included in cars getting free maintenance package for long wait. It is only for the premium cars. Too bad, it would have been a nice gesture to the little people. Alas, it is what it is!!!

Collected my E43 on Saturday...loving it, well worth the wait!!!...not really pushed it yet, I'll take it easy for the first 1000 miles. I gave it a bit of a prod in sport +, it sounds great and goes like **** off a shovel!. Not missing the Range Rover Sport at all!.
After 500 miles I've averaged 24 mpg....I imagine it'll be in the teens after the 1000 miles are up!.
No negatives to report yet.
