Miles to Empty on 2017 E300?
I just purchased my first MB and I am slowly learning how to use the features on my car. I miss seeing how many miles until my gas tank is empty on my Volvo. Does my E300 not have this feature? If it does I can't find out how to display it.

If it is not showing up on th main screen I would take your E to your MB service center. The MTE screen should be available when you scroll up and down past the average MPG and driving efficiency screens.

In my car I cant get it to glow when the wheel is in the center of the tachometer. It will glow when using the regular display and the ecowheel in the center information panel. Im also pleased to inform that with 5k on the odometer Im regularly getting 29 to 30 mpg hwy on the E43 if I keep it under 75mph. Outstanding!

I tend to drive in manual mode. I am used to having a manual shift car and like the control of the paddle shifters on automatic cars. I like to play a game when I drive to avoid using the brakes whenever practical.

Driving style is everything when it comes to better mileage.
I'm getting 22 mpg in city stop and go driving with comfort mode. Auto stop/start is turned off. The 2 week old car has 80 miles on the odometer and has yet to be on a highway.

Agree fully. I often get 23-24 mpg on 80/20 (freeway/urban) driving on my full size supercharged Range Rover and am averaging 22.5 mpg on my S driving mostly suburban driving. The 600 on the otherhand gets 9 mpg regardless of freeway or stop and go city driving.

I understand driving styles make a huge impact, my e350 got better gas mileage then this one does. I never had to be easy on that one either. Filled that one up every two weeks or so and the e300 every 7 days or less. Same routes, same gas station

When I had the 2012 E350, I averaged 23.5 mpg over 20K miles. With the E300 when new, I was getting 24 mpg on average. Now, since I got the car the total average has increased to 27.5 mpg.

The city is a roughly 65 mile trip for me. My driving is mostly rural -- 85 hwy - 15 city. According to Fuelly I'm just under 31 mpg lifetime.
