Mud Flaps!
Well, not really mud flaps--at least the kind with chrome girls on them. But the vestigial molded plastic kind that provide some protection. I drive my E400 wagon in snow country, so I wanted to minimum the ice and crud hitting the rockers and lower rear quarters. I could not find genuine MB mud flaps (splash protectors) listed for the wagon. I did not want to pay MB prices for something that might not fit, and that I would be tempted to modify, so I resorted to eBay, and copies from China (https://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-Mud-Spla...72.m2749.l2649). For $50, including shipping, I got these four:
Intstalling the fronts are easy. Remove the 2 plastic fasteners (first pry out the center pin, then pull out the fasteners).
That leaves 2 holes inside the fender well.
The front guards lined up perfectly. And the fasteners are easy to re-install.
The rears also have 2 fasteners inside the fender well, plus a screw underneath inside a small recess.
The rear guards have a molded shape to insert into the recess.
Otherwise, like the front, the fasteners all go back in easily--all the holes line up.
As the photos show, I did not remove the wheels for this installation.

I bought probably the same ones from a seller in China on Ebay. The rear ones required a small amount of trimming off of a piece from the splash guards to make them fit. Here are some photos.

I went to the e bay site that Pcar stated, and the site says not compatible with 2018 E300. Is there a difference between 2017 and 2018?.

I don't think they are different. But be sure to buy one made for Sport version or Luxury version, depending on which one you have. There are many Ebay sellers of this product. I would do a search for "mud flaps" or "splash guards" and "W213." I saw a set for as low as $32 shipped.

Could you give an indication of what you trimmed off (I assuming it is on the hidden and not a visible part of the mudflaps??)

Sorry, but they are fugly. Contrary to beliief they might actually be worse than not having them at all. They scratch the paint underneath down to the bare metal, essentially like using sandpaper, thus promoting rust. Like other add-on "protection" they end up being worse than just leaving it alone. Furthermore, in most modern cars, the flared fender design already reduces "side crud" significantly. BTW as I said in the beginning they are fugly

Just trying to help you avoid pain later Just talking from personal expirience. I had a car where the paint was stripped to the bone in 2 years and that was with low profile oem flaps. Unfotunately "flaps" flap.
