Need advices on tires
So with tires on my W213 wearing out, I'm in the market of buying a new set of tires.
What I have on right now is Continental ProContact GX SSR MOE XL BW, P245/40R19, which came with the Mercedes when I bought.
I like how it rides, comfort and quiet, I heard road noise every now and then, not much, I guess depends on PSI, but overall, I like them so far.
So should I stick with the same or consider trying something new?
My priorities are comfort and quiet, since I'm running on 19 wheels already, which is much stiffer than 18s imo.
Thanks in advance.

20k miles....these some hard driven city miles?
I couldn’t imagine 20k highway miles wearing out a set
Id say my history of tires is a 2.5 years or probably 40-50k miles, that was a mix of mostly city/local miles
What kind of driving do you do?

Just picked up new W213 with Pirelli tires. They are quiet. Check out www.tirerack.com for their comparison test on them and 3 other brands. Only negative they found was less than stellar rain traction.

For those of you who will continue running with Run Flats, I cannot recommend enough the Michelin Primacy MXM4 RFT. I have the non RFT tires on my car and my buddy has the RFT version on his W222. They last long, and wear well. The Contis (DWS06s) get louder (a lot louder as they wear). The MXM4s don't handle as well, don't grip as well (sure), but they are exceptionally quiet tires, and one of the few RFTs that you can get on these E/S classes

I like the Pirelli tires I ordered for my W213. They are quiet and seem to be wearing well with 100% town driving, but I only have 3k miles on them. I used to buy Michelin Pilot Sport tires, but the last 2 sets wore down (evenly) to 3mm with less than 10k miles on them.
