Navigation to phone contacts is quite different, but a lot of people don't use that. It also allows you to do an internet search of the address.
My dealer mode shows Active Comfort V1.2, what is that for ? (My car does not have the massaging seats). Also, i just got it serviced today. The dealer mentioned everything is updated. However, the version shows 2.71 and US maps v15.0.
people can hardly hear me anymore on hands-free, anyone else has this problem too after the update?

Attention Assist (the dreaded coffee cup) is an Active Comfort feature.
I have a 2018 sedan and a 2019 coupe manufactured in March and can get into dealer mode in both. I did find that it takes more than 10 seconds of holding the control knob down to get dealer mode.
Go to the main home screen and scroll to Vehicle. Press and hold the controller button for about 15 seconds until the secret menu appears. Go to the Software screen. To exit, go back to the secret menu and scroll all the way down until Exit appears from off-screen, and press the controller.
I had V 16.0 Europe already - downloaded early June, but as of this morning have just installed further update for UK and Europe Maps. For some reason they have changed the naming convention and these are version 340

The Web portal only lists the version number as 340. The previous version was 330. If you check the map version in the car, the current USA version is listed as both Version 16 and 340.
Got mine updated last week but having trouble with the command controller now where it starts freezing and lagging after I hook up to Android Auto.
Also my text messages now seem to be sorted the wrong way around where I have to go all the way down to the last text to see the most recent. Does anyone know if I can change this?

Are you using the new Android Auto? Its text interface is better so I don't use COMAND's anymore. It might fix your other problems, possibly. You switch to it via AA on the phone, under Settings.

Yea. Using the new AA and you are right it def has a much better UI. Just annoyed that MB may overlook this. The only way to actually get the most recent texts at the top is to select new and unread messages under text setting. Once you put all messages it goes back to the oldest first.
I just had my Navigation updated at my dealer in my early 2018 E300 and the software version is 01.70.01.00. The nav was updated from V6.0 to V13.0.
I am thinking I need to have them update the COMAND to 3.75 / 3.76 / 4.77 before I can unlock V14-16. I'll go back in 6 months and see if I can have both carried out to the latest.
