Latest version of command?

Had the software updated today at Mercedes. Latest version still seems 04.80.00.20. Noticed that although it enables the new style ambient light menu, I still don’t get the option to have animated light.

What year is yours? Mine is a 2017 so maybe it’s too old for the animated light. Hoped it would be a software change but I guess there may have been a module change later on that enabled it.

I had a 2019 demo that had it, but this one doesn’t. Noticed that the software change also didn’t add in the seat moving with the steering wheel when you turn on/off the engine, which I also thought was just going to be software.

The COMAND update did fix my easy entrance/exit feature. The seat now moves. It didn’t originally.

Ah ok, interesting. I read that in the US at least, the feature was removed in the W213 until 2019 due to some law suit issues with big people getting squashed!
I only looked at it briefly, but I only have the option to turn the Easy Access on or off, when you turn it on, the picture highlights the steering wheel but not the seat. The 2019 I had, had an option to choose wheel and/or seat and highlighted both in the pic.
I’ll have a play tomorrow.

Had mine done on 6/2 but have not noticed anything different. I need to check the version to see what it’s on. I totally forgot to check it before it went in for A2 scheduled service

I've got my Easy Entry set to move both the seat and steering wheel, but only the steering wheel moves. I am in the U.K.
Any update on what the current version is? And does that fix this issue?

My Easy Exit/Entry started working with the update to COMAND version 04.80.00.20. Prior to that update, only the steering wheel and seat back (recline) moved.

My car is going into Mercedes dealership at the end of this week. My easy entry seat movement isn't working, so its possible that my COMAND unit's firmware may be updated. I'll post on here if that is the case.

I was at the dealer on 19th and they confirmed that 4.80.00.20 is the latest version. My easy entry seat movement isn't working either. There isn't even an option in the menu to choose Seat+Steering Wheel, like some others have in here. The image of the Easy Entry/Exit menu shows only the steering wheel highlighted. Dealer doesn't have a solution. Hopefully yours gets fixed.

You might be one of the first people to get that update. Do you have a pic of the dealer version menu so I could compare other software versions. Also what W213 do you have?
