Mercedes Me Connect - If You Can't Connect To Your New 2019 Car
N.B. - I use android so apple may have more advanced functionality.
This morning as I was getting my briefcase out of my trunk, my boss walked up and we just started talking as we walked away from my car. When I got in the office, my Apple Watch tapped my wrist and said my car was unlocked and asked if I wanted to lock it. I must have simply forgotten to lock the car when we walked away. So, I opened the app, tapped Lock the Car (kind of cool how you hold the lock button and a wave moves up to the top of the phone) et voila, the car was locked. Now, the do I really trust that the car really locked entered my brain, so I went and checked and indeed it was locked!!
But I never set anything up, for the notification to happen. I'm an iPhone user, not Android.

I see no reason to close this thread. I titled it with a title that is rather open ended for anyone to comment if they are having issues with Me Connect services.
But this morning, the app finally connected!!! I can finally see all the cool things this app can do. I'm at work, so haven't tested lock/unlock, but hopefully, they work.

It appears your problems with the ME connect activating was simply time. There was nothing you could do on your end that was going to change anything. The fact you all collectively seemed to have your apps up and running at about the same time seems to bear this out. What was surprising was the length of time for you apps to activate.
Me and my wife's activated immediately, with full service in about 1/2 hour......yours took weeks.

You should get notifications regardless of whether you're Android or Apple. Did you go into the settings on your phone and make sure that notifications were enabled specifically for the app?




Like to double check my email address, but don't see a way of accessing it.

On the Me Connect App, on the home page, tap the little head icon next to the i in a circle on the top right of the page
Tap Edit Profile
Scan down the page to Email Address
If not correct, update it by tapping the pencil
