I have noticed my e450 doesn't have it, they should really do a better job documenting this.

Huh mine is also a coupe, not sure if that changes anything. Also I thought command comes with all e-class vehicles now? There is no option to get command on the mbusa website.

I have a 2019 E450 CAB with both digital gauges. I have the upper ambient light. Have confirmed with fellow 2019 E members (CAB & non-CAB) that if you have analog gauges, you don't.
COMMAND NAV is standard on e-class vehicles.

My 2019 e450 Cab has lights at the top of both displays.
Now... why they didn’t give us more control over the lights is another story (why do I have to use MB color combinations? Why can’t I set exact colors of each zone of lights? Or why only 2 zones? Why can’t I set the color of each air vent? If I want to make my car look like a unicorn puked well... maybe I wanna! 😬😬![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Resurrecting an old thread here but I was wondering about this too...mine is a 22 E53 sedan and it DOES NOT have the LED strip above the LCD cockpit screens...just below. It seems like they may have deleted the strip above after a certain point...like the LED lights inside each door handle are also gone, the missing analog clock, etc. Now there is an angled led light underneath each side view mirror that lights up the area in front each door.
I forgot about the LED strip above the cockpit until I rode in a buddy's W222 S Class and I was reminded.

Just read on another thread that potentially the factory forgot to plug in a harness if the top of the cockpit screen is NOT lit....sounds like too much of hassle..
EDIT: confirmed after 22 MY ...only the bottom portion of the wide screen is lit...for whatever reason the top portion was deleted.
