So I’m confused, if the wide screens are deleted, what do you end up with? Seems like getting a credit for delivering a car with only 2 tires.

I have an E450 ordered in early July with a (hopefully) build date/range of Sept 20. I heard from my salesman on July 22 that three options were no longer available: massage seats, dash cam, and augmented video for navigation.
So maybe this is referring to the augmented video for navigation only, and not the entire guts of the dashboard display.

e classes are being delivered without the hermes system at the moment and you have to sign a waiver. basically you have no navigation and any type of communication features (cant recall all of them). Customers are being told it will be in next year, once it comes in it gets installed. crazy times.

From my salesman: as of last Friday, 8/6/2021, all E and GLC’s for 2022 will NOT have:
1. The wide screen in front of the driver. Replaced by analog gauges.
2. No Keyless Go. Yes, that means sticking a physical key into the car to start and operate.
3. No Hands Free Access. Means you’ll have to open the trunk the old fashioned way.
All of those chips are being redirected to S and EQS cars until further notice.
I cancelled my order.

3. No Hands Free Access. Means you’ll have to open the trunk the old fashioned way.

Ugggg ... doesn't look good. Are you in the USA? From your profile details, thought you had an E350 on order. I just reached out to my sales advisor on status of my vehicle build. He told me that it was scheduled for a build date of 7/26 (but that was 2 weeks ago!!!)

See if your SA can send you a screen shot of all your options in NetStar? You should see the credits for those options under the standard options list if your car should have been produced already.

Yea, that's the plan. He stated that the build process just begun and should be completed in a few weeks. I'll ask him for a print out. Either way, if there are any "surprises" that I can't accept, I'll just refuse the vehicle. (Hermes module I could accept adding in later -- with some sort of credit compensation of course)
