These lights are low quality LEDs unfortunately and do burn out, replacing them requires a dismantle of the door, basically. Mercedes simply stop putting LEDs there starting model year 2021.
I hate those LEDs and would love to know how to simply disconnect them. All they do is show off the dust that gathers behind the handle. Makes a great exterior look... anything but great.
Front & rear right light 0998200283 or MB direct 099820028364 (same part), left 0998200183 or 099820018364. Mounted in bearing bracket under door handle accessed from inside door. Have dealer replace under factory warranty.

I wish we can swap lol as I really like seeing the lights at night but all mine on a 2017 C-sedan burned out, but to answer your question, likely there is a fuse you can pull or you can use some dark coloured tape and cover the LEDs. The more annoying solution would be to take apart the door and unplug the lights physically.

I'll probably go the dark tape route and hope for the best. Gawd only knows what would happen if I started pulling fuses! I'll bet there's no dedicated fuse for that teeny bulb.

Mine still all work on my S class and my E class but when they burn out I'll just leave them alone unless the cars are still under warrantee, although I dunno maybe the extended warrantee wont even cover these as they are something that wears out.

I am at least hoping the S-Class gets better quality LEDs? I was hoping the same for the E-Class too (compared to C-Class) but apparently it didn't happen after seeing them burn on the W213 too.
Ya, I'd be willing to bet they are all the same cheap LED's. You think about it too and they do take a lot of vibration from people constantly grabbing the door handles. I'd be willing to bet the drivers door one is probably always the first to go since that gets the most use.

Probably actually, that reminds me of a few years back when I saw posts of a complaint for the ambient light strip dying randomly on the driver's side.
