How can i activate andriod auto on w213
How can i activate andriod auto for my 2019 e class mercedes, estate, w213. It has audio 20 (506) media display 868. Looking to do this as cost effective as possible. If anyone has any advice it will greatly appreciated.

There is a USB-A female connector in the center console, plug a cable into that and into your phone. Then go to the 'connect' icon (in your 2nd pic) and select Android Auto, setup should be relatively straightforward from there.

You may have to ask your question differently. Do you not know how to configure Android Auto with your phone, or when you plug in your phone there's no Android Auto option? Just so you know, most members on here are in the USA and all PFL W213 as far as I know came standard with COMAND and the smartphone interface here, so not much experience with Audio 20. I thought the smartphone interface was only available in combination with COMAND, but based on some quick Google searches it appears to also be available with Audio 20 High, but the smartphone integration in some markets is an extra cost option. Does your build sheet list options similar to the ones below? You first have to find out if your car was ordered with the smartphone interface. If not, then you may be able to purchase it by contacting your dealership. I once saw that dealerships in the UK can install it later, but don't know the specifics. With COMAND and MBUX, the smartphone interface can be purchased and downloaded via the Mercedes me connect store, but Audio 20 doesn't have any online connectivity.
I did find a thread on here where somebody with Audio 20 got it to work, but they had to visit a dealership to get a firmware update and the poster said it took the dealership 4 months to get it working. But as I said, most members on here have COMAND or MBUX and standard smartphone interface, so they just have to plug in the phone and it works.

No. You'll likely need a firmware upgrade if Android Auto is even officially supported with Audio 20. I really don't know what the situation is. As said I and most others here have COMAND or MBUX and full Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support. Audio 20 is the basic Infotainment system that has fewer features.
The following is the thread I found the other day that may help you.
