Go ahead and laugh. Mudflaps
1. I live in a place where roads are sanded in the winter, and I don't want to drive/insure a beater for 5 months of the year.
2. My last car has been owned for 12 years and has suffered damage to fender well paint, lower fenders and lower body.
3. I'd love to be able to push the tires out a bit further with new wheels.
I've investigated PPF for the fender wells, received a goofy quote of $1,500 for a car that already has a full front PPF. I presume they wanted to remove the fender PPF and replace with it wrapped into wheel wells. This would be my preference, but there are a lot of uses for money...
Has anybody seen a small discrete modern version of mudflap that would cover the lower six inches of the wheel well and be 1/2 to inch in width? I'm not talking about the underside, on the fender.

Bought some from eBay and they appear as though they will fit perfectly. Somebody else on this forum pointed me to these.
eBay Mudflaps W213/S213 AMG-Line
Same seller offers them for the Luxury trim as well.
Waiting for the weather to warm up so I can wash the car and fender wells prior to installing. The come with screws but the holes line up perfectly with the plastic fasteners on the fender well.
