Fault code U010B85

Fault code U010B85

Hi any one got a idea what this means fault code is U010B85 it says as below
Communication with the exhaust gas recirculation controller (cylinder bank 2) has a malfunction
There is a signal above the permissable limit value
how would I fix it

This fault's on a DIESEL engine correct?

Can your scanner interact with that EGR Module at all ?

Ultimately this may be related to back-pressure from a dirty DPF...

Yes diesel 2.2d engine.. the garage replaced my Egr valve under warranty but the ligh came back on !

one new EGR under warranty: no difference.

There are two EGR's...
Modern Bosch 4 cyl. ECU can track bank1 and bank2 for best emission management. Engine doesn't need to be split in 60° V.... 180° is a line.

Again this has something to do with back pressure from clogged DPF.
Check the harness for factory painted GND post, interact with module them tackle pressure issue.

More likely is about one High pressure EGR that return the gases before the DPF and a low pressure EGR that's use the cleaned gases behind the DPF.

I would start with a real diagnosis.
