I’m not a fan of the black surrounds on the grill, but it may grow on me. The W213 generation is a beautiful design and tough to improve on.

The outside shape of the taillights looks like it, I wonder if the partnership with Nissan in the past did anything or if I am mistaken, what MB models in the past had that shape of the taillights? (not talking about the graphics of course, like the MB star in the taillights for example)

Ya but I guess the W213 facelift wasn't MB's best ones...

If the "E" of the CLE means anything, hopefully we at least get (some?) of the material choices optionable from the W214?

Interior space now should be similar to the LWB E Class that is sold in China. The trunk, an increase of almost 50%, is now right up there with the BMW 5 18.7 and more than the Audi A6, 13.7,Toyota Camry 15.1 and Honda Accord 16.7!
That is good news indeed, should hopefully mean sitting at the back is more comfortable in terms of space wise. I was surprised the W213 E-Class had less room than the current gen 5-series actually, that was interesting.

It is a cool "party trick" as for the selfie camera, well for meetings... although hopefully it is optional for those who don't want or need it?

And the overall shape does look like they did angle the front and rear kind of weirdly to make it more aerodynamic, but while trying to retain a traditional 3 box design. Guess that’s a trade off for a shared platform. The end result is a shape that looks more like the new accord and less like a 5 series.
Well, might be the angle but I guess the reveal is tomorrow, we will find out. As for it belonging to an SUV, I guess ya like you said, they got too much experience (good or bad) making SUVs and forgot about the traditional sedan.

I also prefer the Luxury car grill. If available, I plan on ordering that one for my wife. She hates The CLS53 ride in her current car.

I actually think the camera would be helpful. There’s been a few times where I’ve actually done some work/business calls in my S when traveling.

Luxury front end is only available in EU/China, No North American option. AMG-Line will likely be standard again.

E53 Wagon will never happen in the US. An All-Terrain is possible, but there was also a GLE450 Coupe in the document which we don’t get (only Canada does). Pretty much, the wagon won’t be confirmed until MBUSA says so.

Yes please! Wood!!! Less glass and plastic.

Canada sometimes gets different trim levels than the US.

Might not be the case this time however, other than having the A-Class hatch and the C-Class wagon before, we might be getting the same treatment and product line as MBUSA.

If true, that's a major error by Mercedes not to bring the luxury grille to North America.

You can always get the grill and have a body shop install it

Us super fans may say that, but sales likely say otherwise…
