Although 3.0 is very similar to 2.0 I would be surprised if they didn't.

It is my understanding that some 2024+ cars are an issue right now for BenzNinja due to changes in MBUX and the licensing requirements. This includes the W214. Read this to learn more.

I drove across Florida yesterday and averaged 34.8 mpg going mostly 70 mph. Around town maybe 22 mpg on an easy drive.

Yes comfort mode. I don't see any real change in MPG in Eco mode so I don't bother with it. Seems this car gets about 3 or 4 better MPG than my traded in 2019 E450 V6 did, although I like the sound of the V6 better under hard acceleration. Oh well can't have everything I guess. I'd be all for some kind of software update that would pipe in fake exhaust sound through the speakers.

That sure would be nice to have I don’t like the sound at all of inline 6s. I was watching the movie the birds last week when tippi hedren was driving the 1955 Auston Martin trough the curvy roads getting on it and thought wow that sounds as bad as my new all terrain so I looked up what engine
The Austons used an inline 6 in that little sports car.

Ya strange they didn't bring it over, it is called progressive sport sound that mimics a higher displacement engine. It can't be regulations, I understand the blue in the digital light wasn't brought over because of regulations.

It's a gimmick for sure, but i would have liked to have the option. Same with the digital vents not being available in the US. I would love to know the real reasons behind these decisions.

I am curious as well, digital vents will be nice. I understand the auto close sunroof when raining was part of a us regulation, and the digital light of certain brightness, and the aforementioned blue hues in the headlight. All of which are cool things to have.

People who buy V8 will buy V8, they couldn't possibly be thinking that pumped in sound will make people feel good about buying the six cylinder and not buy the V8 whenever that is out right? (If it even gets the V8. E 63)

I have 3Dmaxpider floor and trunk mats for all my Mercedes vehicles (W214 E-class + W222 S-class). They are custom-fitted mats (floor mats are the same for W214 sedan and All-Terrain, whereas for trunk mats there are two slightly different versions). Personally, I prefer these over those offered from WeatherTech (more rigid and less movement on the vehicle foor when installed). You can order these mats from Rockauto.com for an additional discount from official prices.

Notice that since these are custom-fitted mats and the trunk areas of W214 sedan and All-Terrain are slightly different, there is actually a different version designed specifically for the All-Terrain (manufacturer no. M1MB1921309 for All-Terrain vs M1MB1911309 for sedan). Needless to say, there are also floor mat versions that are customized for front and rear seats but they are the same for both sedan and All-Terrain W214s. Again, you can purchase all of these mats from Rockauto.com with a discount from official list prices (I purchased mine from them).

Correct. The E53 Hybrid trunk floor is different from those of W214 sedan and All-Terrain so this will not be a fit (I don't know if 3D-MAXpider makes a separate version for E53, however).

What is your impression of the Eco mode? I find it way too intrusive, and I don't see any change to the shift logic. Won't let me coast more than 5 mph over the speed limit. If I'm driving along 10 mph over the speed limit and take my foot off the accerator, the car will brake to slow me to no more than 5 mph over the limit. Coming to a place where the speed limit drops, the car will slow "vigorously" to 5mph over the new limit. (and yes, I've disabled the speed assist). There's also the distraction of added icons telling me I'm going down a hill or, oddly enough, if I'm approaching a T-intersection. I leased a 2019 CLS with the same drivetrain and it could care less how fast I was coasting or what I was approaching.

I like Eco mode on my E450. I like the feeling of coasting down the highway with the engine not running. I think the vigorous slowdowns just occur when the electrical system determines the ISG needs to recharge the batteries. The start and stop of the engine bothers some but not me.

If you think the slowing down relates to recharging the batteries, then you are not paying attention. It's a speed limiter when coasting that doesn't exist if you're coasting in Comfort mode. I like the engine-off coasting as well. There's a 2 mile long downgrade near my home and I used to enjoy coasting with the engine off for those 2 miles. With my CLS I would often reach 60+ mph in a 50 mph zone. With the AT, I can't coast faster than 55. And when the speed limit drops to 35 mph, there is a rapid drop in speed to 40 mph. Find a level spot--should be easy in Texas--and go 10 mph over the speed limit--which should also be easy in Texas. Then take your foot off the accelerator and see if you slowly coast down to the speed limit or if you quickly drop to 5 mph over the limit. If you don't then I have a software issue that the dealer isn't acknowledging.
