I cleaned out a couple dozen leaves today from the lower front E53 grille opening. Does anyone know if an aftermarket screen is available?

I’m confused reading this. You need a screen for a grill? So you would prefer to clean the leaves out of a screen instead of a grill? Maybe the solution is a flat faced ev or moving to the dessert?

Sorry, but I’ve just never heard of a car that doesn’t get leaves on or in it all throughout the fall season.

Now I’m starting to wonder if they have a filter for the pre-filter for the HVAC…?

One thing that really irks me is the lug nuts. I have to take off the lug nuts that keep the lug nuts on when I get a flat to takeoff the tire that’s on top of my other tire, I tire.. but I’m glad for the second tire because it keeps the wear off of the real tire.

it’s just a hole there is no screen. It’s just a big hole with a radiator behind it. So the leaves gather on the radiator.

Maybe a product like this, the E63 guys needed this because the problem was road debris like rocks was destroying the radiator causing catastrophic coolant leaks....

A product like that for the lower center grille opening is exactly what I had in mind. Leaves may still collect on the outside of the screen, but it would be much easier to remove them compared to digging them out from deep inside the grille like I am doing now.
