i wanna get this pulley also but $500 for a pulley.... EvoSport gives 3 pulleys for 399 to the V6 version. 2 bad they dont have anything for the V8 i would of been on it.

Actually they do have pulleys for the V8. I had them on my CLS 500 years ago. Here's the link:

the ams is a lot better set up it is a lot lighter

Sorry my bad. I didn't realize you had a 4-valve. Last I heard Evosport was going to soon release a couple new pulley kits for the new motors. You may want to check with them.

The AMS still uses same crappy elastomer design as stock crank pulley. As far as weight, you are comparing a crank pulley to accessory pulleys. The Evosport aluminum pulleys are very light. I think your "a lot lighter" comment is all relative Plus you don't have to mess with the crankshaft when you install/remove. Just my .02 from my research.

it is not hard 2 do
all i took out was the fan
but u do need a tool to hold the crank pulley (u can find them on ebay)

for the hp part my clk500 now does 13.0
and that was my 2nd and last run
if i did not have 2 go home cause my battery i would b in the 12 sec
