SOLD! 80mm AMG Throttle Body + SC Inlet + Y-Pipe Connector

This is kit #15 from the original VRUS 80mm TB project. Original thread here: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ttle-body.html Ah, those were the days!

I upgraded to an 82mm TB (bored out to 85mm) so I don't need this one any longer. Includes TB, SC inlet, and Y-pipe connector. I'm also including a used gasket although you would probably be better off replacing it with a new one.

I used the TB with a VRP carbon fiber airbox. In order to make the airbox fit the TB, I had to file away a portion of the external rubber trim. You can see the result in the third photo. That change doesn't affect the how the TB performs but I wanted to make sure potential buyers know about it before purchasing.

I'm thinking a fair price is $850 shipped. Give a shout if you have any questions.

Yes, a straight bolt-on for a 55k engine such as your '06 E55.

Standard bore on the early 55K engines was 74mm. Later engines used 80mm.

Not sure about the n/a m113.

Yeah, I bet you're right. I was thinking of the SL's 55K engine which got the 80mm upgrade.

Ahmad! Good to hear from you!

The 85mm TB is strong!

I spent a bit of team chasing down a vacuum hose leak but once I got that sorted, it was all good.

That work was done before I purchased the TB. Per the seller, it was Maxbore. Original for sale thread here: https://mbworld.org/forums/engine-pe...ody-600-a.html
