2023 Order Guide
The one known fact is that if you cancel the 2022 and order a 2023 today you will absolutely NOT receive any tax credit as the EQB is no longer eligible for multiple reasons, which is what the memo is stating.

Also, MB corporate did respond to my dealership's inquiry regarding the transition rule. They didn't provide much of a response other than to say they couldn't provide guidance on tax matters and were not sure on what would be accepted by the IRS. I have a feeling that's why they stayed away from the transition rule with the memo they distributed to all dealerships. They probably didn't feel confident enough issuing guidance on this topic. The fact the IRS came out later in the day with some clarification was helpful, despite being stressful since it was so last minute.

Finally, a friend of mine in the same boat as all of us emailed the contact listed at the bottom of yesterday’s MB memo asking about delivery dates. Still nothing definitive, “hope to begin deliveries by the end of this month” was his answer.

I have a built sheet with a VIN and it was built exactly as ordered. There are not any missing features due to supply chain issues.

The “build” button is still not live, so no pricing on options there yet.
FWIW, those are the exact prices of the 2022 300 and 350 models, which makes me wonder if they are showing MY2022 or 2023 on the website?
Of course, MBUSA has officially released the price of the 2023 EQB 250+ at $52,400 (source), and only the 250+, so maybe there won't be much of a change from 2022 to 2023?
As I understand from my dealer all builds after ~July were 2023 models so I assume that's correct. Perhaps we can speculate they didn't up the price to soften the blow of the tax rebate changes.

Sales team told me today cannot equip w tow package.

It was assembled in August, then packed for shipment almost a month later in September, and that's the last update in NetStar as of today. Still no 2023 pricing, either. Also, we were shown a revised internal memo from MB that changed the introductory date for the 2023 EQB from Fall 2022 to Winter 2022.
I'm not sure what's all going in behind the scenes, but it's not trending the right direction.
