Driving range is increasing
The 80% driving range on my 2024 AMG EQE SUV originally showed 175 miles when the car was delivered. After two weeks of driving and charging, the 80% driving range now shows 210 miles or a 20% increase. My driving is mixed suburban and interstate so my mileage use is basically what it was in my E63S. Extrapolating to a 100% charge yields a maximum range of 262 miles. The car is EPA-rated at 235 miles, consistent with that specification. My miles/kWH since reset is currently showing 429 which should yield a range of 215 Miles. What are others experiencing with actual range over time?

It should increase over time. It begins with a very pessimistic outlook. My EQE350V4 sedan started in the 200s when I purchased it, and after a couple of weeks it was projecting about 353. In the winter, it's significantly lower for now(about 250-260), but will go back up again as it warms up. The range forecast is quite temperature dependent. With our EQE350X4, it projected a bit over 300 miles, but now is significantly lower (230-240) due to low temperatures. Interestingly, SUV with heat pump is significantly lower in range than sedan without heat pump - air resistance must be a huge factor, and the waste heat loop in the sedan, even without heat pump, is still quite efficient.

We've seen 3.6-3.8 with the sedan on highway trips, and up to about 3.4-3.5 with the SUV. However, as you have "the beans" with your AMG and custom motors and inverters, I'd imagine it may run a bit less efficient. But in warmer weather, efficiency definitely goes up!

Now that the temps are up around 35 F, we are seeing a range of 210 at 80% charge. That would give us a range of around 260 at 100% (I think). If this is true, I may actually see above 300 miles per charge in the summer like others have reported. I would be very happy with that.

I think once I realized how much I could affect range just by changing my behavior my anxiety got considerably better. All I have to do is slow down from 75 to 50 MPH and/or turn the HVAC on/off/eco-mode and I'll make it just fine, no worries. Locating a bunch of free level two chargers near where I shop helped too. I especially like the Volta chargers at movie theaters and malls. I really only worry about range now when I get low and need to shuffle cars around in the garage so my dryer outlet Splitvolt EVSE/charger cable can reach. Next house gets a hard-wired 80 AMP NACS charger installed.

23' EQS AMG
I installed a 60 amp years ago in my garage for an electric range/oven. When I got the EV last year, I had to install another 60 amp breaker because the existing oven outlet was not in an ideal location in relation to where I wanted to park the EV. The good news is that if I get another EV (get rid of the ICE) , It can use the oven outlet.
As for increase range, the lowest estimate I've seen the eqs amg is 244@80% (305@100%). Most of the time, it is around 255-274@80%. An weird detail is that while the 22-23 AMG is estimated at 277@100%, the interior pictures of the EQS amg on the MB website has always shown 299 miles@100%.

23' EQS AMG
No worries. Its the same outlet plug used for EV charger wall plug. My electrician verified it. Both plugs are commercial rated NEMA 14-50 and not the residential type. Since the house was built before 2020 codes, he didn't see a need to put in a GFCI breaker. Why 60 amps? For future in case you want to hardwire and do 50A. I have my Emporia set at 40A since that's the max for the EQS.

Just charged my 2023 EQE350 Suv 4m from 54% to 100%. Was charging at about 7.8kwh. Initial eta for 100% SoC was 3:40am, but it reached 100% SoC early at 3:10am. Also, range seems so low? Initial expected range was about ~380km. At 100% SoC its telling me 290km, which is absolutely ridiculous. There has to be something going on here right?
Note that I just picked this up from the dealership this morning at 96%, drove about 80km freeway and had 69% when I parked. Then drove it a little bit more around town down to 54%. Its currently -11c(12f) outside.
Any thoughts?

Don't worry though, you'll usually outperform that estimate significantly, especially if you just picked up the car. Over the coming weeks, it'll adjust to your driving style and show updates that are still temperature dependent but more accurate. Just give it time.

The range is now 245 miles at 80% charge or 306 miles at 100%. EPA rating is 235 at 100%. I'm psyched!

We're seeing 70 MPH road trip ranges of about 270 miles at around 50°F this spring with a fully-loaded car (SUV). As the air density and heater use goes down, I suspect we'll see closer to 300 miles.

Three weeks after the BMS recall update and the 20% overnight battery settlement, the 80% charge range is now 257 miles. That implies a 100% charge range of 322 miles which is amazing to me as the EPA rating is only 235, not that I'm complaining. All this with 22" wheels which should cause a decrease in the range. My miles/KWh, according to the gauges, are now 3.2 with mixed interstate and suburban driving. I've also been driving using the Individual custom mode with Sport suspension and Comfort power. Stops the floaty feeling over large bumps.

Be careful when temperatures are moderate. Especially with high humidity and or rain. If the windshield starts fogging, defog runs heating and air conditioning. A big hit to range. Or get used to driving with your head out the driver seat window.

The A/C is set to 72 degrees. Outside temps have been over 95. There has been rain over the past couple of weeks with the headlights on as well. I know that winter temps will lower the range by about 10%.
