Act by 30-Aug-2024 - FREE Wall Box for MY 2023 EQE/EQS

I recall seeing the free Wall Box promotion earlier this year, but assumed only purchases made after the promo was announced would be eligible for the offer. Previous transactions are typically non-eligible for any promotion from any company. At the end of July I saw a reference to the promo on the MBEQ Club forum. A few forum members reported successfully getting the MB EVSE. A few others were not successful. I suspect that MY 2022 and MY 2024 vehicles may be excluded from the promotion. I don't believe the website accepting the requests for the free charger does complete real time verification. It took several weeks after making the request to receive a FedEx tracking number.

I submitted a request for the free wall box on 30-Jul-2024 using the VIN from my 2023 EQS SUV purchased 29-Oct-2022. The application was accepted, and after several "update" emails from
bdainc.com, I received a notification with a FedEx tracking number indicating delivery would be made today, 27-Aug-2024. I will probably keep the MB EVSE in the factory sealed carton and include it with the car if I sell it privately. I was surprised that the request was approved for a car purchased 22 months ago. I believe other EQS/EQE owners who purchased a qualifying car by 30-June-2024 have until 30-Aug-2024 to submit a request for the complimentary charger at:

The offer originally expired at the end of July, 2024 but was extended until 30-Aug-2024.

Sorry about the "duplicate" posting. I rarely visit the EQE forums and missed the MB Wallbox - free thread. Hopefully, someone who thought the offer expired in July gets a chance to submit a request.

It does not work for me... it says 'Please provide a valid VIN'... my care is MY22 but I purchased earlier this year, so not sure if you guys know if they have a cutoff on specific model year or whatnot.

Here's a link to an MBusa page that specifically says the free Wall Box if available to customers who purchase a MY 2023 EQE or EQS (any variant) in the first quarter of 2024. It appears that MB is enforcing the MY 2023 requirement but they seem to be very flexible on the purchase date.

Yep, clearly not eligible.....which is more than mildly disappointing, to be honest. They sell for over $900, apparently. Guess I'll stick with my ChargePoint HomeFlex.

Has anyone with a MY23 car tried to get this charger after Aug 30th? I did not see these posts until now and like Lazaru5, I bought my 23 EQS SUV 580 in Oct 22. I have a Chargepoint, but recently bought a used EQE SUV 350 and it would be nice to have the free extra MB Wallbox. I did click the link 2 days ago and it said my VIN was eligible (as well as the VIN of my new 23 EQE 350 SUV and the 23 EQB 350 SUV I purchased for my daughter in July). I got an email from BDA that I will get an email for order details in 48 hrs. I did not hear anything so I emailed their support who told me the promotion has ended, but I have not got anything saying they have cancelled my order. Crossing my fingers that maybe they will still send me one (or more)?

I'd be interested in seeing if that does happen myself. The last time I tried this link was when I purchased my 23 EQS in October and it stated that the promotion was over after entering my VIN. Well now low and behold I was able to enter my information and received the same "Confirmation of your Mercedes-Benz Wallbox redemption" email you stated! I will wait and see if the "order confirmation" does in fact come thru as well in 48 hours.

well after more than 48 hrs and after I sent a follow up email, I got an email that their verification team said I am not eligible because the program ended on Aug 30th. The email says to talk to my sales person about eligibility. Of course, my sales person said I was never eligible, but that can't be right since others on the forum that applied before Aug 30th and bought their cars in Oct 22 (MY23 car) got their wallbox.

I'm thinking a call to Mercedes Customer Service to tell them that no one told us that we were eligible maybe worth a try

I have one of the first model year 23 EQS 580 sedans. I never got any notification from Mercedes or my dealer a wall box was available for me. It was a post by someone in this forum that said Mercedes was giving out free wall boxes to owners of 23 580 sedans. I had the car for over a year but put in my vin and got confirmation email a wall box was available. About 2 weeks later I received the wallbox. Of course this was after I already installed a ChargePoint flex in my garage.
