Merry Xmas to all and hope you are enjoying your holidays. I have a service appointment in 3 hrs. at the dealer on my 2022 EQS 450+ for my passenger side screen on the hyperscreen been frozen for a couple of weeks. I have the NRL_330 version and was wondering if there is a newer version I can ask them to upgrade to. Also any battery management software etc. that you folks recommend based on your recent visit? Thanks all.

I thought Sound Drive was going to be only for AMG, but maybe that's no longer the case.
Anyway, there's some good looking stuff in here, so I hope to receive this OTA update at some point, even though I do not have AMG.
If you haven't received it yet, how did you get these pix? I assume somebody you know has received the update for real (vs. marketing promo from Mercedes...).
In a German car forum and in 2 Facebook EQE / EQS groups, some users reported that they have already received the update.
Sound Drive does not seem to be activated yet, but it is already listed as a service in the Mercedes app after the update. Sound Drive will be available for AMGs as well as for AMG Line vehicles in various model series.

As customers you will receive a notification when the MBUX software update is available in your region. You will then be able to download and install it over-the-air (OTA) using the update assistant on the MBUX media display or in the Mercedes me app."
I received the 505 update (from 330) as well and not sure if there is anything new. My passenger screen that was frozen now works perfectly and I believe there are some new options on it that I haven't explored since I haven't had the chance to sit on that side. Haven't driven the car much, but so far it seems reliable. More importantly the did a battery management service upgrades as well as some other software updates (I was told there were 8 upgrades). I was just handed the keys without the paperwork of the services performed, so not sure about which specific upgrades were performed. Service advisor was very busy and handed the key to the valet (to give to me).
PSA: If one day you get in the car and it gives you a 12v battery error, please lock the car and walk away 50ft. or more with both your keys. Wait 10 min. and the error will reset and go away. I am appalled that a car by MB has no way to jumpstart or do a complete system reboot. I was stuck in McLean, VA and had to call MB support and once the tow truck arrived, the operator told me to do this!

There is a TSB software fix for this but it needs to be done by the service department, not OTA.
