Well That Didn't Take Long... EQS Battery Malfunction
Picked up my 23 EQS AMG a couple weeks ago. Noticed a battery malfunction error popping up, so dropped it off at the dealer last week for that the driver door handle which has been non-responsive. It will present on approach, but doesn't lock the car when touched. About a week into being at the shop and still no real updates. Germany's engineers are involved and the Mecerdes Me app is doing a great job of keeping be posted on the prodding.
I'll attach some pics of the error messages. Looks like these are fairly common amongst the EQ lineup and range anywhere from needing a new 12v to an all new high-voltage battery.
Not terribly worried at this point. My i3 went about 7 years before BMW did a full warranty battery swap and it was like getting a new car back. So clean slate battery with the EQS actually sounds appealing if it goes there.
Side note: I have a 2025 GLC 300 loaner now with base interior. Am I crazy for thinking the seats are a bit more comfy and padded than the EQS? My EQS has the executive and pinnacle 2 packages, but the seats are a little firm. Not bad at all, but the GLC just feels a little more plush. Dash Error Home Error

So this is a used vehicle? Does it have all the battery control system updates? Why did you go from a 2025 GLC to this?

Yes, I purchased it pre-owned with about 20k miles on it. It's a CPO through MB. Appeared to have all of its service records in place and nothing that looked alarming. Current service advisor said the car's systems are up to date. Not sure if that also means the battery controls. Two current recalls, both a result of the NAC deployment with the sum of the recall being stickers added to the charging port.

I see, hope things work out for you, either a bad battery or missing a bunch of updates. Just keep in mind that even if you buy used and it is a CPO, they won't update everything, as it takes them time and money.
I actually don't even know if they go through the CPO process anymore and instead put a checkmark on everything.
I can pretty much guarantee you that this is the case. At least in my scenario. They didn't realize the car needed new tires until they went to wash it for my when I picked it up. i.e. something that should have been caught in their CPO "inspection".

Oh well : ( at least they still caught the tires before it became a safety issue.
Only EQ amgs have the 48v powering the active ride. You can research this forum by searching 48v. You most likely have a 12v issue though, 48v will cause suspension errors.

Ah I see, it is only used for E-ABC basically right? I thought that system can be powered by the high voltage battery.
EQS has been in the shop for little over two weeks now with no real update on progress other than, "we're coordinating testing with Mercedes engineers". Anyone have experience with battery malfunction inspections and repair? Does it normally take this long to sort things out? I feel like by now they should at least be able to call if the pack is bad or not. My i3 went in for battery inspection couple years back and they knew with 24 hours that it needed to be replaced.

I guess it is a combination of both software and hardware, so it takes a bit more time.
Received an update from the SA today. Looks like Mercedes is recommending a full HV battery replacement. Parts are already in route. Which is kind of exciting to be honest. No real details yet on what the determining factors were to warrant a replacement, but it'll be nice to have a clean slate battery.
On a lighter front, I got my loaner GLC upgraded to a brand new GLE. 28 miles on the clock. I know the platform for the GLE is a little dated at this point, but the difference between the GLC and GLE is pretty substantial. GLE feels like I'm back in a big solid Benz.
