Sorry to chime in so late...my moms got an oldschool benz that's still nice. she's always looking for benz gatehrings and all. If we can come up with a date I'll be sure to see if she can take the weekend off and come rep up for the oldschool.

We've (my Girl and I) have been taling about making a trip down to south beach. It would be cool to kill 2 birds wth one stone.
I am definately ready for a meet. When I had my Lex there was meets all the time it seemed like.

Anyone going to Sebring March 19. Going to watch two C230 Coupe's and two new S60R Volvo's run. It's not every often that we can watch MB racing. Taking my D100 DSLR digital camera to catch the action. Great place to party.

I'd be interested...depending on the date.
Please don't make it February 28 though!! I founded a VW/Audi GTG a few years ago that has become a monster, and we are holding our 12th event that very day in Broward County. That would leave me unable to attend and represent my other German car love!
BTW - if you want any suggestions, tips, references, etc on planning GTGs or events, I've gained alot of knowledge and alot of contacts from my VW/Audi GTG. I started over the internet by getting 3 Passat owners together, and began promoting the idea of a GTG. Through alot of labor and toil, we now have an event which will host over 600 cars and more than 1,000 people, still free to attend, with food and beverage service, on-site vendors, sponsored by more than 20 companies and clubs, etc. We are now pulling in VW and Audi owners from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, and throughout Florida.
I would love to get the same type of gathering going for MBers. Not a car SHOW, or competition event - just a free gathering, barbeque, nice day out, with vendors and sponsors paying for the event.
As for Sebring, I'll be there too...I will be in the Audi corral across from the pits, but if the MBers are getting something going, I'd love to stop by during the day and get to know some people.
I'll be sporadically checking the boards for the next few weeks, as I'll be going nuts in the closing days for the VW Audi GTG. March and beyond, I'm free!

What's up with the FL people on this board? We had a big 6speedonline.com meet the other day in Orlando and invited everybody from this board, the viper board, the Supra board, the Ferrari board. The 6speedonline guys were there in force (over 40 Porsches, mostly 996 turbos). The Viper guys were all at some national Viper race near Tampa so they had an excuse. Even with that going on we did have one supercharged Viper out. We got two Ferrari guys out (360 & 355 Spider). And 35 Supras rolled in including Hulk Hogan and his green single turbo. Only than myself, only two brave mbworld.org members (C32 & W211 E55 owners) made it out and that was it from this entire board. That is sad.

There is a HUGE VW Audi meet this sunday at the local VW Audi dealership.....I can't make it though.
I couldn't make the Orlando thing because of work. I'm not sure if I can make the sebring thing either. But I'm gonna look into it. How many others are going?

hey guys, we at clublexus r trying 2 organize a meet 4 high end cars sometime in late april 2 give everyone ample time. i have posted on this thread because u guys were planning a meet and thought mayb some of u might b interested in joining us aswell. it will b more of a meet than show but in planning stages right as 2 what kind of show we can put present. we would like 2 know if u guys would b interested and also if u guys could chime in with ideas as we r throwing many around as right now...we have a lot reserved 4 over a 130 cars if needed in pembrookpines ft lauderdale...hopefully u guys would b interested and will join us in a day of fun talking cars and takeing some awesome pics...here is the link 4 the meet.....
