I wanted to announce a new car gathering in conjunction with the State of California called… Supercars by the Sea
This will be a re-occurring monthly meeting of Supercar Enthusiasts at Huntington State Beach. The first meet will be on Sunday January 14th from 6:30a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This event is fully approved & permitted by the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
I developed this event with the input of the City of Huntington Beach and the willingness of the State to allow growth in its 1,000+ space parking lot. As car meets continue to get pushed out of existing venues, I was seeking a permanent solution in a scenic place, for all to enjoy for decades to come. The best way to enjoy the event is to purchase the Annual State Parks Pass (good at all parks statewide) or there is a $15 day use pass to get into the park.
A couple of quick details:
Parking will be reserved for each meet (Plenty of room for trucks and trailers).
Enter at Magnolia & PCH.
The Park prefers cash but, does have credit card capability at entry.
21601 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92646
Really looking forward to attending this event.
Hope police presence is minimal as I'd hate to get pulled over and get multiple citations over "illegal modifications" as it used to occur while participating in
the 70-mile saturday events

Thanks for chiming in. We had 51 cars sign up in the first 72 hours. When approaching off the 405 use Beach or Brookhurst depending on direction you are coming from. Probably best not to drive through Newport Beach.
will cars be placed in specific spots..., by make, model etc
what cars are allowed/not allowed?
15$ whether we come to display or spectate?
thanks
All cars are welcome but, you must register. Non registered cars will be asked to park in spectator lots.
Spots will be held for Supercars (For MB it will be GT's & SLS's) for the first meet and then re-evaluated for future meets. ( I'm not big on holding spots)
$15 is the day pass for the State Park no matter who comes in. Annual Passes are $195 Java on the Go will have food and drink available.
ok, thanks ....this will be interestning to see how long this show last...hope it goes well but i dont think people will want to pay to display and for sure not to spectate...
lambo NB does there show where youtube fanboys will run to see exotics.....but i guess your show is a good way to keep them out....so yeah i hope it does well....ill bring my sec, or 911, because those are supercars to me
There are already over 65 cars registered and not one of them care about the Parks fees as most will buy the annual pass for access to the State Parks year-round. As far as spectators go there is no free parking anywhere within a half mile of here. That will limit or they (the kids) will just put four in a car. We do welcome everyone so, they are no problem to me. This is on public ground so can't limit that. Lamborghini will becoming to this as well along with Aston Martin. Again once all other shows get tossed out of the malls this will be the last stop. We might be a year ahead of our time but we expect over 100 cars the first time out. I already have 4 sponsors so I think we are good to go in the long run. See you there!
I drove past a couple of times and honestly barely saw any benz cars, (felt intimidated seeing so many ferraris/lambos) ... it was more of an exotic car show. Hopefully there will be more of a strong Benz presence in the next event.
