Older G Class buying advice
I am looking at purchasing an older W460 G class and wanted some buying advice. The AC compressor is broken and removed along with the condenser. Wipers are also broken. Everything else is in OK shape, slight rust. Anything else to look out for?
I realize parts may be hard to come by as the pre 90's were imported directly from europe. I am willing to put up with it as this is going to be a 3rd car, although I hope nothing is obnoxiously expensive.

The wiper problem is quite common, and the suppliers have the necessary parts to repair.
The A/C can be easy or hard - depending on whether it's factory or after market. Not many early G's came with A/C from the factory.

Thanks for the advice. I checked it out and fell in love with it.
Planning on restoring and updating it soon. I want to put brush guards front and rear but I am running into a problem of how to get the front one mounted as the older g's had a slightly smaller bumper than the newer models. I would like to avoid welding it to the bumper if at all possible.

The front brush guard is different for the W460. Not sure if they're still available new, but you might be able to find a used one.

I am not good at picking out accessories but this was looking better than the original one to me:
