Seatbelt opening trim (black piece) on b-pillar needs a little bit more adjustment, due to additional thickness of the leather, it needs a little bit of additional trimming in order for it to sit properly.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I took mine apart to get it painted and then I reassembled all the pieces. It comes in a lot of pieces but I did not have any issues. Some clips were pretty tight on there when I was taking it apart, but nothing broke.

Since in some areas of the door panel the tolerance is very tight ( door grab handle, door open handle, speaker area, seat control wood trim) I'm carefully cleaning out the top door panel foam around those openings m so that after the leather is glued, those parts will still fit. Otherwise, if you don't do that, the addition of leather thickness will make the space smaller and those parts will not fit .
I'm also laying 1/8 thick foam on outfacing surface of the door panel to give the door panel a little smoother finish and so it's soft to the touch when all said and done.

Another question was which wire from original plug went to the new plug for the xenon headlight. FYI: only first 4 pins are used on the xenon headlight, other pins are for self leveling, etc...

Thanks again for all the information and especially the photos which explain so much.
