I don’t remember, but I think I sold the templates to somebody. Honestly, I’ll need to look around the garage to see if I still have them or I sold them. I remember somebody was interested but I can’t remember now if I sold them.
once again, you can see the process of me doing the headliner and the posts I did. Basically bought a roll off Alcantara, and started gluing it on.
The width of the headliner and the width of the role of Alcantara is just perfect to cover it. If you go too far, one way or the other you’ll mess it up so that was a stressful process to make sure it’s aligned perfectly in the middle.

Hello everyone My G500 is back on the market and is FOR SALE.
I was not able to get the fuel gauge to work with the new 2010 cluster so original style cluster is going back in and Im going to be selling the new one that I purchased from the dealer and has been on my car since the restoration.
My asking price is $69,900 OBO (within reason) Never driven in a heavy rain or in dirt Vehicle drives good, no issues. Haven't driven the car for the last year or so. Been stored in a dry garage. Im going to get it fully detailed outside in the next few days. Interior is still in mint condition.
I will be listing it on Ebay as well in the next few days.
DM me with any questions OR offers **Serious inquiries only**
MercHouston: I wanted to let you know that the white radio crate (which I think is what you have) will not work on the G-wagon. I have the same white crate from W203 and it does not fit and is totally different.
Im talking to a dealer to see if they sell this crate for 2007-2012 G-wagon which came with mid facelift interior.
Worst case, I will have to modify the one I have so the newer style radio fits in to the opening.
I know this thread is several years old but I'm hoping Kobzarhomes is still responding to questions. Do you happen to know the part number for the 2008-2012 G-wagon crate that came with mid facelift interior.
In other words, it seems that the headliner is glued directly to the roof? As I understand it, that's different from most cars where the headliner fabric is bonded to some kind of board or backing or the like which is then attached to the roof via fasteners, tabs, etc.
One more question - would I be able to replace the stock gauge cluster with one from a 2013-2018 G (with the color LCD) or would I need an entirely new COMAND system?
As far as cluster, its too complicated. I wasn't able to get fuel gauge and odometer to work on my 2010 cluster. I wouldn't bother unless you have high level or hacking and coding skills.

Thanks for that. I definitely don't possess those skills
This has been a fantastic thread. I may have missed why you went with G63 brake calipers instead of OEM. My 2004 is in need of a right front caliper but I am having trouble finding one. I read someone suggested cross-over to Sprinter vans but I have no information. Do you have any clarity on the subject? I would be very pleased to purchase the front caliper rebuild kits. I have found rebuild kits for the rear calipers (pistons and seals) but *not* for the front calipers. Any thoughts/guidance would be very welcome!
