When the Mercedes G500 4x4 Squared first released, wheel enthusiasts encountered a small problem: who makes a premium custom forged wheel in a 8x6.5 bolt pattern?! The options were slim to none so we set out to work with the engineers over at HRE - using our very own 4x4 G-Wagon for measurements - to produce the model specific TR188. With custom widths, offsets, and finishes it was only a matter of time before another G500 owner saw this style as the perfect addition to a bigger project. We treated the Benz below to a full onslaught of Brabus carbon pieces as well as a very trick illuminated Mansory drop step and finished everything off with the Satin Black “88’s”. This is certainly one way to differentiate your six figure off-road monster from the others.

Yea the new MB World format really messes with the coding now.
And I agree, the 4x4 squared was created to be flashy as much as it was created to go off-roading. I think the Carbon pieces and custom painted trim areas that we completed really tie everything together.
I know this is an old thread, but do you remember the offset for this setup? 22×10.5 ET45?
What is the factory center bore size? 116mm? 122mm?
Thanks!

That's because it's not a Squared. It's a converted regular G. The tall lift kit is likely the issue. Probably has ridiculous torque steer.
22×10.5 ET40 with 122.5 center bore size.

Prior to taking it to Tucker, I had the full suspension replaced with a true 4" lift from Jackwagon Overlanding, including new shocks, Eurowise caster arms, adjustable panhard rods, etc. Zero issues since then, and frankly it handles "tighter" than a stock one now. When we met, it was in to track down a wiring gremlin or basic service; Tucker didn't touch the suspension (not that I wouldn't trust him), as I had that fixed some time prior.

It was nice meeting you, but I hope it didn't cost you a new AMG GT for you wife... LOL
