Looks great. How did you mount the fox shocks 2.0 reservoirs horizontally like that? I just saw that you are located in Houston as well. Who did the installation for you?

Built 2008 G55 & one big 80 Series LandCruiser !
they come with the brackets from viking to fit in that way - although I think one had to be modified a bit on my G63. really liking the Fox's over the OEM shocks....

We should do a G meet ..

The shocks come with brackets to mount horizontal but need to do minor modification. Installers at 4 wheel parts on Westheimer cut out little piece of plastic liner.

HtownG.....how hard was it to install those LED signals on the fender? Heard they are a PITA to fit and wire up so they don't hyper-flash

They were easy to install. Each one came with resistors so no flashing error.

Do you have a link for the ones you bought? Every other person I’ve seen comment said they needed to hack them up to fit properly.

Lifted G500, GT-S, track Cooper S
FWIW, the OEM G63 side markers are not that expensive and only need a resistor wired in. I went that route.

I am running Kings and they ride MUCH better than stock. That being said my extra few inches of lift have changed the geometry in other ways, but the ride itself is amazing, and I get a lot of compliments from folks who ride in it. I would imagine Fox / King are both an upgrade over stock.

your truck was one of my inspirations..... it still needs my old light Cannons.... although I cannot figure out a good mounting option for them nor my LP6's that I bought for it....

a houston meeting around coffee or beers, or even a cars & coffee looks in order...

agreed - I wanted 18" rims but they only left 2mm of clearance on the barrels to the caliper.... roads must be better there than Houston and assume it'll stay on the street.

@cwwheels1 was the Brabus tune and DP's added as part of your build ?

Texas.....it’s definitely a showpiece (mall crawler). 37s are coming soon. The sidewall that is on all G class from the factory is the same that’s on mine now. Unsure about the tune as the work was already done when I purchased it.

@HtownG

Love this, did you do the Fox shock with the THOR springs from Viking? Thinking I'm going same route. Looks like you can get up tp 2.75" lift out of the front with this set-up, any reason you didn't go the extra distance? And did you do extended brake lines?

I had the same set up, but I could not fix the caster angle so I decided to take the Thor springs off and just leave the shocks. I’m curious how did you correct the caster angle?

caster issues were the reason I used the 40mm spacers - along with keeping the ride / handling qualities of the AMG springs, given the HP of the 63....
been down that road many times chasing things on landcruiser builds when taking them past 1 1/2 - 2" of lift... often it leads to camber issues and vibration issues that lead to a rabbit hole of new replacement upgraded parts...

40mm seems to clear the 305's / 34 inch tires with full travel and room in the fenders.

Yes I’m using the fox/Thor setup. And I did use the extended brake lines to be safe.
