2019 G550 cracked windshield
That's exactly what I was thinking....I'm supposed to have a replacement windshield some time in September.
MB customer service just called me again and they have no knowledge of an admitted problem or possible fix in the works.

First off how do you know they know they have a problem? They're addressing the problem on a go-forward basis....really, according to who? It's not a game, it's called customer service. I'm annoyed, if that comes across as whining to you then I apologize. Get in line....I am in line, I asked my dealer to order a windshield 3 weeks ago. I have windshield protection so this doesn't cost me anything but down time for my car.
I just find it unreasonable that the company can't have replacement windshields available in a timely manner for what is an incredibly expensive automobile.
So are we done here?

Pretty annoying answer. Stop whining and get you wallet out. Could be applied to all possible faults with every vehicle and then this forum wouldn't be any interesting would it?

At the earliest it will probably be another week or two before my dealer can get a windshield.
This is fantastic service on a truck I paid $220k for.
