What does everyone think of the G Manufaktur Sintered Bronze Magno for an exterior color? Has anyone taken delivery of their G painted that color? I haven’t seen that color in person and was wondering what everyone’s thoughts are.
I have always had black cars (my current G63 is obsidian black with black interior).

I bet you’re right. My dealer called me asking if I’d be interested in one too. I’m not familiar with the color and have always kept it simple by buying black cars.

Are the wheels gloss or matte? It appears the ones on the configurator are matte but it is hard to tell.
Yes, seems like dealers are marking up the g550s 6% or so, I was right about that. The alternative is a months long waiting list and I wanted one now, and the stronger than time editions come with just about everything you'd want in one of these. Dealer also gave me a better than I expected trade in value on my range rover sport so didn't mind paying a little premium to get the car. As far as the wheels I think they are more gloss, but I'd have to check again when I take delivery later this week.
Can someone post a close-up of the all Black wheels? I thought it said online they were Matte but they seem to have a sheen, almost like a Satin color.
By the way, I just received the following message from MB USA, which is a response to my question. They have been 100% accurate in answering past questions so I wonder why their answer is in conflict to what I have read in this forum?

Designo Magno Paint does not include a clear coat, as it has a matte finish. The vehicle should preferably be washed by hand using a soft sponge, car shampoo, and plenty of water. Please see below for matte paint care.
The following may cause the paint to become shiny and thus reduce the matte effect:
Vigorous rubbing with unsuitable materials
Frequent use of car washes
Washing the vehicle in direct sunlight
Hot wax treatments
Use only insect remover and car shampoo from the range of recommended and approved Mercedes-Benz care products

The respond from MB on the clear coat is not entirely right. MB uses spies heckler paint system. Permasolid HS Clear Coat 803 with permasolid matting component 110 with a 75:25% ratio and hardener. The difference with the clear coat of magno paint is they diffuse the light differently.
Customers who like matt finishes can order Mercedes Benz colors from the Magno series. Here, instead of a „clear“ clear coat, a very matt clear coat is applied. Some special details need to be observed and as these are very high-grade vehicles of the Designo Exclusive Series from AMG Performance Studio, only trained painters are to carry out this type of repair job.

We can confirm that Matte paint does not have a clear coat, or an additional layer coating the matte paint. As such, this type of paint requires special care provided in the previous correspondence.
