Correct Looking Tires

Hi...I have a G350 Final Edition two door hardtop and I’ve always mounted Hankook M+S tires as they look correct on the car...more off-road than passenger car. I have two questions: I need legitimate snow tires now as I have a new driveway which is steep, but all seem to have smooth sidewalls and look at though they belong on a sedan. Any suggestions for a more aggressive looking tire than a Michelin Alpin or a Conti Contact? And in the summer tire category any suggestions for a tire with the look of the Hankook but of a higher quality? Thank you. Michael

First off all, there is a customary 2 pic minimum to post your rare two door

Never had to mount snow tires but if youre particular about sidewalls, I suggest looking them up in Tire Rack. Apart from the budget brands, any of the premium brands should be ok

084runnerltd is right.
I’ve had both K02’s and Duractacs on my Ford raptor. Duratracs were better on snow and ice.

I agree with this too ^.

I currently run K02 on my G500, but have had Duratracs on 2 previous Land Cruisers and a 4Runner.

IMO, Duratracs are the better winter tires, however, they ride a little louder than the K02.

To be honest, I was gonna buy Duratracs for my G wagon, but it was at that time that GoodYear informed employees they could wear BLM apparel to work, but the wearing of Pro-police apparel would not be tolerated.

(Not trying to detract this thread, I don’t care what people wear...but when one of your #1 customers are the Police Departments, you should prolly be a little wiser with your public statements. They have since retracted).

The Duratrac is an awesome tire!

I thought it was Trump apparel they wouldn’t allow, never heard anything about pro police apparel not being allowed.

Toyo Open Country AT3 has a snowflake rating. I just put them on an '88 Suburban I'm building for a client that is going to keep it in Telluride, so I don't have any report on how they actually handle in snow/ice just yet. He will be taking it up there at the end of this month. I did pick them specifically for their snowflake rating though. Plus, they look good.
