Introducing my new G55k AMG
I am a new user to the forum, but have been stalking threads for quite some time as I was trying to educate myself while looking for my first G. I have been a huge fan of the Geländewagen for many years, and I finally set my mind on going out and purchasing one at the beginning of the year. Finding the right G was a project in itself as I was quite specific on what I wanted, but a while back I found the (for me) perfect specimen. A black 2011 G55 Kompressor with around 60,000miles/100,000km and a few cosmetic and facelift upgrades as a bonus. G63 bumper, grill and headlight frames with LED's. Almost completely blacked out, and even 31mm H&R spacers all around was included.

As I bought it from an official MB dealer in Germany it came with a 12 month warranty (I suppose you would call it a CPO vehicle?) which certainly can't hurt when buying a car like this. The warranty is valid in all of Europe, which is good as I imported the car to my home country of Sweden immediately after the purchase.
Anyways, just thought I'd say hi and make a quick introduction. I will have a few questions, but will start separate threads as appropriate. To close things off, here are the mandatory pics!
All the best from Sweden!

ps; I've read every post in your G55 Journey thread - absolutely awesome!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Been going through your G55 thread in detail and must say I'm a bit jealous not having access to the type of off-roading you have in the California area. Here we have very strict laws against off-roading, so if I can find a place to take my G on a beach stretch or old logging road I'd be happy. I also have about 3 inch clearance in my garage, so lift or oversized tires are out of the question.

Im currently up in Seattle, which is a whole different world of off roading, but headed back to LA later this year. Love the nature up here, but miss the non-stop sunshine in California.
Keep us posted as you get to know your truck!
