Dash removal is major labor.

So what sort of issues did the leak cause?

Every dash light came on, engine light , etc…and then then once turned off, the car wouldn’t start again. Apparently the key less lock antenna communicates with all the other electrical functions and so it won’t send a signal to start the car. I don’t even have key less start…but now it’s all corroded and rust.

Yikes!!! Good to know and another thing to keep an eye on. Assuming if the leak was right at the windshield, it could be caught early eliminating the need to remove the dashboard

Yes- it seems like a significant design flaw. I don’t think they do it in newer models.
