I'm running a 275/55r20 and would like to bump my spare to the same size (didn't realize the spare was a 19"). Planning to order an OE wheel and flip kit, what flip kits do people seem to like?
the one from 911 Motorsports seems to be a favorite. I have their front license plate bracket and it is well built. Don't have the spare tire flip kit but would expect the same.

I think that's what I was leaning towards. Initially I was like that's too expensive, then I remembered the price of the teraflex tire carrier I had on my Jeep.
There was a member over on the ClubG forum that had a batch made - sligtly less than the 911 motorsports one. Not sure if he has any left or if he's still making them. A few of the other G-wagon vendors also have their own at various price points.
When I upsized my spare and matched my other 4 wheels, I just kept the reverse mount and got a larger tire cover from boomco. I went with the 32" size for my 285/60R18.
I kept some bookmarks on a few vendors when I was looking three years ago, but a few are no longer around. I wound up getting the reverse mount made by 911 Motorsports and am very satisfied with its build quality. List price is $500 directly from 911 but it's $10 less at Jack Wagon Overlanding.
I ended up going with the 911 mount it should be here early next week and I found a spare wheel on Ebay so I can at least have 5 of the correct wheel/tire combos.
I just finished installing my letech style carrier.. I ordered something similar on Alibaba for around 3k I believe. I just finished getting it installed today and I'm leaving for about a month tomorrow. Need to do some more adjustments but it seems very solid.. I think 37s are the max as the spare is a 37x13.5 and it's touching the carrier brackets..
