Steering assist

Do we have the steering assist where the car can drive itself for 30 secs or so?I thought I saw it when I picked up the G but any seem to get it to come on. All I see is the old fashioned cruise control

If you're too preoccupied with tasks more important than driving while sitting in the drivers seat, hire a chauffeur or park it for the 30 seconds during which whatever else needs your attention. Or buy a Tesla - be sure to get the casket option.

Radar cruise control along with lane keep assist...but when land keep assist kicks in, you want to make sure you have your hands on the wheel to tame the beast.

To answer your question directly, no it does not have the self-driving system.

Clearly this doesn't answer the question. No one said about being preoccupied.

Why else do you need a vehicle that drives itself for 30 seconds? If this feature was provided, why would you use it and why 30 seconds? What happens at 31 seconds?

This feature has been present in the S class for years now. I had it in my 2015 S63 and have it now in the 2018 S63. Its also an option on our 2020 GLS 580. Its natural for me To question whether the 21 G63 would have the technology as well but it doesn't.

It's very useful in stop and go traffic. I'm not entirely sure of the exact time but the car gives you a warning to put your hands on the steering wheel after a certain time.

A friend of mine had that feature on his 2017 E Class as well.
