How much are dealers in your area asking for 2022 G 63s? My dealer in Utah wants $75K over MSRP for a MY 2022 G 63. I found a few 2020 G 63s near me for about the same price as your dealer is asking for a 2021 G 63.

A quarter mil $ is a lot to pay for transportation. You can drive reliably (and less expensively) from A to B in a vehicle costing 1/5 as much. You're asking other forum members if you should cough up an extra $200K for whatever a G provides you above and beyond mobility. Only you can determine if the "whatever" you'll be getting is worth the $200K that you'll be paying to get it.

IMHO it's not good or bad. It's fair-ish Personally, I'd rather pay $75K over MSPR for a new 2022 G 63.

Isn’t the base price in a new G63 higher in Dubai than in the USA anyway?

local market pricing might be different in Dubai. I’m sure there are more people with deep pockets there.

2020 G63, 3300 miles, $240,000. Much cheaper than Fletcher Jones.

Range Rover 400e, Ferrari GTC Lusso, G63
There seems to be a lot of G63 for sell according to True car. If you search 2020-2021 there are 360 vehicles on the market. Another odd stat is the ones I checked on, have been listed for months and not moving.

I think the party is almost over. Starting to see prices come down. My dealer who has G's (both) for $75k to $150K over have six. Salesman told me they're selling to other dealers at $20K over. I said to sell me one at that. they're going to let me know. I suspect not too long from now we'll see some sold at MSRP. All are 2021's though. 2022's will justify premiums at first when 21's come down. Be patient, everything ends.

if you've owned one before or perhaps lived with one for more than a month at least and have fallen in love and made the decision to never step into anything else...you've made your decision...but (there's always a but) it's not the right time..a number of them sold theirs and ended up making a quick profit...let the 2022s roll and you'll get it a for a little less..

Is this a good deal?
Received an email from the dealer where I bought my G. He has 4 new 2022 EQS vehicles available at MSRP, and is tossing in a set of winter tires as a sales incentive. Average price is about $120K. No idea if deal includes a fire extinguisher.
With its 350 mile range, I wouldn't be able to reach any dealer when the recalls start without stopping for charging (which would likely be the recall purpose).
Plan to keep the G.

Won't go electric until range is at least 500 miles

Therein lies the rub. The more energy that gets packed into batteries, the more dangerous they become. Liquid fuel requires oxygen and a source of ignition to burn. A battery requires only a small defect in the insulators separating its chemicals, and it becomes a high explosive requiring neither oxygen nor a source of ignition to burn (and capable of sinking ships). IMO, manufacturers should focus on safety, and accept that a huge impact on emissions and the environment can result from building EVs that serve the less than 250 mile range, and are adopted by 80% of this market that believes EVs are safe. If I were still commuting daily less than 100 miles r/t, I'd buy a small EV for that purpose (but still park it outside at night). But for road tripping and RV hauling, liquid fuel will remain dominant for a long time. Same goes for long haul trucking. Companies such as Nikoli that think they can make EV tractors capable of hauling 25 ton loads cross country are several decades premature. Thankfully Boeing and Airbus haven't committed to 100% electrics by 2030.

Funniest thing I've seen recently was a Tesla hauling an Airstream. Clearly they weren't headed anywhere but a full hookup RV park, and were probably packing a 100 ft. long 240V/50A extension cable just in case.
