MB suspending sales of 2022 AMG V8 models

MB can sell these cars as fast as they can make them worldwide so they will just redistribute the capacity to other regions where I suspect they are selling at higher msrps as well. And they solve a big US regulatory issue. Might consider selling my 19 and buying a 2018 as a holdover if there is a significant market premium to be had on the 2019s in a few months as the available inventory dies up.

So many random things coming out from various dealerships I've spoken to. Also, the ADM is all over the board. I had one dealership reach out to me and asking $85k ADM on an allotment and a completely different dealership reach out regarding a build coming at the end of the year with an ADM of $30k. I've already got a deposit down at one dealership who believes they will get my build slot/allotment by the end of the year (but I'm not holding my breath on that one). All I know is that, while I love the G63, I don't love its enough to drop $300k+ on it.

I'm not too concerned about it. I'm patient enough to let this nonsense pass by. I actually just sold one of my other cars this week because the profit was too good to pass up. After driving it for two years, I was able to let it go for $15k over what I purchased it for. The market is absurd on so many levels.

2. Try online places like Carmax, Vroom, Carvana but be aware they may not even be willing to give a quote because of the rarity of the vehicle.
3. If you have a lot of patience Bring a Trailer seems to have people with a lot of disposable income paying crazy prices for used cars. But I think there's a healthy waiting list to be on the site.
4. Cargurus/AutoTrader as a private seller.
5. Hope somebody sends you a private message on this forum looking for one haha.

You can list it in publications such as Robb Report and Dupont Registry, both which feature cars and luxury products for people with bottomless bank accounts. Online used vehicle resellers (Carvana, etc.) will pay bottom dollar, so I'd avoid them. Bringatrailer is an auction site with competitive bidding and national exposure. I'm not sure how BaT chooses its listings, but a G550 would be a quick flip for them, so maybe you could cut to the front of the line. And of course listing it on this forum and giving a fellow member the deal of a lifetime would be appreciated.

I think prices will keep going up at least for the next year depending on what replaces the engine when they do resume production. Even before this happened, supply was higher than demand. Now, much more so after production stops.

I think you meant to say supply was lower than demand?
