G Class Update

Given that 2024 Order Guide is out without an update would assume this is for 2025.

The move to a more modern touch screen infotainment system is a definite. Take a look at this Prototype Ride Along article and image of the 2025 model's center console. It looks like my 2022 GLS.
Additionally, on Timing. Automotive News just put the G-Class refresh on their timeline for Second Half of 2024. So if it is a mid year update or the 2025 we will see but they called is specifically second half of 2024.

second half is 25 model. i may be in the minority but i dont want a touchscreen and i am not sold on mbux especially if using carplay anyway. i have touchscreens in Bentley, mclaren and others and they are annoying. i even have it on my wrangler and screen is scratched. i had mbux in a loaner and thought system was crap. that said, a modest refresh of the exterior will be cool so ill get one anyway.

Revised G63 spy shot. Note the pics of dash in this one. They obviously are way behind on 4x4 info.

LOL at the covering on the steering wheel.
We'll see how the EQG, Escalade IQ and upcoming Range Rover EV's sell. Buying a luxury EV is pretty risky but these should do better than the EQS and iX since they are electric versions of ICE vehicles that sell well.

Hard to say—if you have one now it’s easy to wait, if not then that is difficult. Unknowns are if the 25 will change (all signs point to yes) and what pricing will be. Also how much will the engine change.
I haven’t gotten a call on a 24 yet, so I’m thinking to sit tight with my 23 and wait for a 25.

Before the past few months I would say absolutely but after seeing what dealers are offering for G’s I’m not sure it’s as easy to do. Plus if you get the 24 does it drop you back of the line for the 25?
