I just took delivery of a 2026 G63 with Off-road Pro package. The only available wheel with this spec is the 20” which I like more than I thought I would.
But the tires just look undersized to me. I’m thinking about doing Ridge Grapplers which have a much more aggressive sidewall.
Does anyone know the max tire size I can run without any rubbing? Factory size is 275/50r20. 285/50r20 seems like a safe bet, but I’m wondering if anyone has done larger. Also thinking about 21mm wheel spacers for a slightly wider stance.
As one of the most prominent contributors in this forum, I appreciate your input. Good to hear that 32” will fit. Factory set comes out to 30.9” so it sounds like I have a little wiggle room. And thanks for the compliment on the truck.

For the W463a I found that 32.1" tire diameter was just small enough to fit without rubbing without modifications.
I'm unsure if this translates to the W465 but based on that you have some room to go bigger.
Based on the 32.1” you ran on 22s, I should be able to run a 305/50r20. Same 32.1” diameter but a hair wider. Would wheel spacers make it a tighter fit or give me a better chance of it fitting?

Wheel spacers will make it slightly more likely to rub on the front inner fender liner, but you can probably get away with little to no rubbing if you keep the max tire size at 32". I know everyone loves Ridge Grapplers, but it's not really the best riding tire and they tend to get noisy pretty quickly. There are other options out there that ride better, and will stay quiet longer than the Ridge Grappler. The Toyo RT Trail is one of the options to consider.

yeah I’ve had a few sets before but never on a G. I should probably do the Recon Grappler instead in a 285/50r20 (31.25” diameter) just to be safe

Great build and color - looks amazing with the offroad setup. I just put NITTO Recon Grapplers (285/45R22 on Vossen HF-2 wheels) on my 2026 G 63 for the winter and they ride great - there is some additional road noise vs. the summer tires but nothing harsh or loud. I also like the chunkier look of them on the G 63.

I have BF Goodrich K02 285/55/20 on G63 - they are stunning in all conditions. Put almost 60'000km on it.
If you consider serious overlanding/offroad, this is almost a must.

I ended up going with 275/55r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. It makes sense you fit 285 KO2's since BFG tires notoriously run small.
