Standard black VS Silver - What do u think?
I was leaning toward a Range Rover, but I'm really falling for the G's. What color do you guys like more? I personally like the silver. I'd also be happy with a blacked out G55

Just traded my 03 G55 for an 05 G55K that is dark blue ( non metallic).
Different and appears black in certain light...

Haha. Silver IS what I want. I just don't know if that's still what I'll want a year from now (I have terrible buyer's remorse).
All my cars are silver right now and I promised myself the next car would be black. The G55 looks amazing in the silver. I'll probably still go with the silver, but I'd still love to hear feedback from people who actually own the vehicle.

2003 SL500 2005 G55
I think black is the best color for cars....my sl is black.....but the g-wagan looks the best in silver....... my G55 is silver and the only other color i would get besides the silver is white.............

I had/have both colors.
My first (stolen) 09 G55 was silver and it was fantastic looking with tinted windows. The silver/black contrast was just great.
My 2nd 09 G55 is standard black. It's a whole other feel.
IMO. I find silver gives the G a more military look while black gives it more a mafia look.
I cannot say if one is in fact nicer than the other. Both colors are truly fantastic. I think it's the car. No matter what color it is, the G is bloody amazing.

if you are going to put it thru the auto wash silver.
This car is a pain to handwash & black needs to be clean
White looks great on this model too

The designo magno matt finishes also look sweet on the G-Class. Only platinum magno is officially available, but I understand that a few other magno finishes like allanite grey can be done at the factory if you ask nicely.
