Hi
I am posting this note to get feedback to help me make a decision. I am considering buying a 1993 500GE AMG (which was the first year AMG released G wagon with AMG and they made only 500 units) or a 1992 500E which is also an icon. I am not sure which vehicle bears more importance as a classic in the MB family and which is considered a better investment.
I also own a 2007 CL 65 AMG (40 years anniversary) where they made only 40 units. Will that be a future classic down the road.

Should have been on the road by now after my brake rebuild but someone in the past has destroyed the threads on the stub axle and finding it hard to find a workshop to redo on one side, can get a complete hub for free but finding the time to go get, remove and bring home and fit has proved difficult with work and family

w116 - (w123 Mercedes Benz W123 brake / clutch pedal assembly
I have a 1975 280s, Its a automatic w116. I am wondering if the clutch pedal assmbly(has brake pedal also) from a 240d(w123) would bolt to my stock w116 brake booster. Hard to say from pictures but they appear to mount the same, that being 4 bolts to the booster, except w116 has no clutch...just brake.
