Some people know a car when they see one, some don't. Some get jealous and discriminate against other cars, when theirs is not as good (eh hem), and some just are plain ignoramous lamers who have no idea wtf to think. I hate people who try so hard to prove Mercedes wrong and think of reasons why Mercedes suck this or that when the fact of the matter is, that Mercedes is the best damn car company in the world. They make the best cars no doubt, have the most innovative ideas and make the most solid, safest cars out there. All those other German carmakers are copiers - just following the leader. The worst people are those who say, "why don't you buy a Z06 if you want to go fast?" or a Porsche or what have you, instead of spending $70,000 on an E55. The reason is so simple. The Z06 isn't even in the same category! The 2 don't compare - The E hold five people comfortably (put mildly) and the Z06 is meant to be a sports car, not sedan. They are comparing apples to oranges. You can't do that. Or, why not get this Lexus, or why not get that BMW. For God's sake people...open your eyes! I know people who compare the E's to Ecclipses and rice **** and all those other Asian imports. The E could easily win against all those if you tried hard enough. What about those people who take a little rice **** and race it against a 1985 MB? They put 200 HP of NOS on there and win, ruin there engine, and then say MB sucks. Most people with Mercedes though, don't give a **** because they don't need to go fast - just normal people who want to get where they are going in one piece. I am sure rich old guys with enough money could make an E go faster than anything. And for people who have never driven one, who just read the stats off of "Car and Driver" while they are on the crapper....shame to you and your family... Although stock MB's will not be the fastest off of the line, name another car to get to 200 faster - wait, little rice garbage won't ever get there... All I am saying, is for those people who are comparing apples to oranges to dog ****, please stop. Ignorance is the lowest form of degredation when arguing against knowledgability. I agree with some of the stuff you're saying. Some people don't give respect where respect is due, to MB. I just think these people are ignorant. And some people don't seem to understand that MB has more of a focus on luxury than sport.

Hey, I am not angry at owners of other cars, nor angry at them for defending them, just at those who talk garbage about "my car" when 1, they have never driven it, 2, say this car over here is better than yours, when they have never driven that one either. Mercedes went bad when they started with aluminum blocks,liners bounce up and down,and whole block can warp. W126 was last of the worry free diesels om 617.951,then went to aluminum head,something you should not do on a diesel.They started producing parts in old communist countries,now india and china. If it ain't iron,I wont buy it,rather rebuild my own engine.
