DMV Title

Just bought a W221 S550. Do you know how long it takes to get the Title from the DMV? Its almost a month and still no Title. BTW, Northern Cal is my location.

I'd go to the DMV but to save time you can call so you dont have to deal with the crowd of people and waiting in line for hours. Hope everything works out.

Its way up north from where I live. Only time I pass that area is when I go to the NHRA Nationals Drag Race in Infineon Raceway in July. I hope their customer service and reponds are great.

When I worked there, we called it Robbers and Bandits. I would suggest seeking out one of the many qualified independents in San Rafael. European Auto Service is one.
Good luck with the new car.

Care to elaborate. Now you got me worried. By the way, called the DMV, plates and registration is due out anytime but the Title, 2 MORE WEEKS.

California requires the title holder to deliver title within 30 days. They owe you a penalty of $ 25. a day after that. At the end of 100 days you must demand payment of the penalty. If they don't pay the penalty jumps to $ 7,500. and your attorney gets paid too. DaimlerChrysler Services is notorious for blowing off demands for title.
