I'm not sure if anyone realizes it, but a large amount of people were denied access to MBWorld tonight. This is the page we all saw...any explanations?

Been having issues with the site for 4 days off and on..
Many times it just hangs when you try to open a post..

Could be they just switched DNS servers or IPs, and the DNS servers for your ISP had still cached the old information.

DNS servers do hostname lookups .. e.g. mbworld.org to some IP address.

I can't imagine propagation of the new information would take 4 days however unless your ISPs servers are set to cache the data for an excessive amount of time.

yeah that sucked!!!! I tried getting on for 3 hours lastnight, even posted up at the OTHER forum about it and confirmed other people were having issues as well!

There was a slight glitch in the DNS propagation as we prepare to move to bigger and faster servers. Sorry for the downtime but things should be ok now.
