Too many flaws! Just look at the boot and lights on that SL, YUK!
They made a decent SL look like a Kit-Car!

I think the cars dont look too hideous but there are three major considerations:
1) Price - Is it really worth all the money to convert an older model to this newer one? Might as well trade in the older one and buy a new one. New models are more than just pretty new faces, saftey features for one and the interior.
2) Price - Holy crap! There is a lot to change... forget it buy a new car. (Yes i know i put Price twice )
3) Resale - Who is going to buy this car from you at some point in the future? I would love to listen to the explanation that this isnt really the new SL500 but an older one facelifted.
You resale value would go the way of a kit car.
Verdict: Keep the classy automobile you have and if youre really bored with it, give it to me (address avaliable on request) and use the money for facelifing to buy a new one!

Or, if you're really into getting it done cheap, just get a civic and add the MB mod haha. Hey at least if you're going that route you're actually saving money not buying a real MB.
