Not sure about the c-class sedans, but the coupe's engine requires 7 liters of oil, whereas this extractor can handle only 6.5 liters... A little inconvenient, having to dump some oil and then repeat the procedure on the remaining oil...

Check out the link below, It talks about oil extractors and the one by BDM would actually do for home use.

Vadim is right. I need to empty a little off halfway through.

Thumbs up

I have the same extractor. Yes, you do have to empty it out twice. However it is really nice and convenient. And the E-class uses about 8.5 quarts with a filter change. I have used it to drain the transmission, and transfer case on my 4X4 Expedition as well. Really nice tool, and well worth the money spent.

Yes ! And you can get the "Brake Bleed" line setup from Griots and use the extractor to bleed your brakes too !

Actually Adam, I Have a better setup for bleeding the brakes. I use the high pressure ABS motor to bleed them for me with a jumper wire and the nitrogen gas charge on board. Learned that trick on a XJS. The car has the capability of 300psi self containined. And it bleeds the ABS unit at the same time. Really bleeds them easily, and no pedal pushing involved.
