NJ, I think those aerial shots are my favorite so far. The lighting and angle on those pics really show the lines and color. Absolutely awesome.
Also wanted to take the opportunity as a newbie on this forum to say thanks to all the regulars who post. The time spent and passion felt really shows. There is a fantastic collection of info here and for someone like me it's really great. Thanks to you all!

And you are right about the members here...a great resource of info but most of all really great people. I have not quite experienced this kind of social interaction in other forums...just a really fun group.

New Red Rock area shots...
I shot these a month or more ago and just got around to processing them. I had posted some earlier. I notice when I posted these on the web to one of my sites they seemed a little over saturated. This is due I think to using my new computer which I have not yet fully calibrated. Anyway enjoy. These were taken on Calico Basin Road.

HDR Images
I have been playing with a program called Photomatix. I takes 3 RAW images of the same subject at 3 different exposures 2 stops apart. One over-exposed, one under-exposed and one normal. It then blends these three images into a single image and maximizes the dynamic range to include both shadow and highlight areas of the image. Here are three of the GL and note the detail in both the shadow and highlight areas.

Bike Rack
Does the OEM has provision to hook up with the trailer lights? That is only draw back of getting an after market hitch bike rack. I believe OEM hitch bike rack can be connected to the trailer lights so that the during reversing the parktronics is automatically disabled.

Technically, there is no lighting on the OEM model, so it doesn't hook up with lights. However, when installed in the OEM hitch, the parktronic is automatically disabled. We've had no problem what so ever at this point.

Thanks word...I have not seen the shots taken at RR on the CD but liked what I saw that were posted. This one I shot after lunch today...went up on top of the parking garage at the local. This was shot for HDR treatment (3 shots) but I took the normal RAW and it looked better than the HDR try.
